Hi,

I hope someone can help me. I have just gotten a Paterson Orbital processor from Ebay and while it looks to be in good condition, I can't figure out how to attach the round manual plastic base to the tank. The base has a smooth round peg and the tank bottom has a small hollow opening with a bar in
the middle. There are no other parts I can see.

I have written to the merchant but am wondering if I am missing something since he has another one on sale and they both look like this? See photos

Thanks for any help or advice!

What parts are you looking for? I assume the dish is just pivoted with its spherical part by that ring on the base. And then one has to swivel the dish.

It doesn’t attach as such. You sit the processor tank on the base - it will be at a slight angle as the ‘bar in the middle’ of the tank bottom (right hand photo) orbits around the hole and peg in the base. Difficult to describe. I use 300ml of developer in mine and it does 4 sheets 4x5 by continuous orbiting.

Thanks so much everyone, thanks especially for that explanation, Tony. I just wanted to be sure there wasn't a missing piece somewhere, although I had checked everything thoroughly. I will give the Paterson Orbital a practice run with some water first.
Thanks again for the quick replies.
