This question is a little more complicated than the previous ones.
In order to test the programming, I used Program 10 for a simple B/W sequence. I based it on the example given in the manual (section 8.7). The table listing the individual steps specifies Chem1, 2, and 3. The text below this table says to use bottles 4, 5, and 6. This example in the manual is designated as Program 4, which means it would use the front row of bottles. My program, Program 10, uses the back row of bottles. I put 1 litre of liquid in bottles 4, 5, and 6, as in the example given. I am only using water at this point, not chemistry, until I understand the machine better.
When I ran the process, I got an error - not enough chemistry. I wasn't sure what to do, but it seemed odd to me that the chemistry would be in bottles 4, 5, and 6. I shut off the machine and filled bottles 1, 2, 3. When I switched it back on, it continued the process with no problem, using the liquid in bottles 1, 2, and 3.
This must have something to do with front vs rear in terms of bottles, but I don't quite understand it. Why did the example in the manual specify bottles 4, 5, 6, when the steps for chemistry are clearly 1, 2 and 3?
