hello all.
i live in athens georgia,just sold my nikon f5 and everything 35mm.purchased a used wista sp tech camera.got it on ebay.have a nikon w 210mm lens coming on wensday.hoping to set up a darkroom soon with the equipment a good friend gave me.see everybody DIGITAL DOES HAVE ADVANTAGES.anyone else in georgia.hope to be a subscribing membor soon so i can post some of my shots and get some feedback.i primarily shot nature type stuff with my 35mm so the 4x5 is a new direction for me.i want to be shooting ulf in the future.maybe platinum printing.if anyone is using a wista sp rf or vx any pointers you have would be great.i hope to be one of the many people responsible for helping to keep film alive.glad i found this site.so long for now.

Er...welcome.

I have a couple of F5's and a number of other Nikon 35mm SLRs. Also use 35mm RFs. Enjoy them all immensely.

Also, now shoot MF but for overall "carry around" format I find 35mm impossible to be without.

There are several LF users in the Atlanta area ( Gary Beasley, for example) who might be of some help. Check out the Regional forums under "US SouthEastern" for some activities.
