Here is an odd assortment of wooden, large-format camera backs. For the most part, I dont now what camera they go to but I have provided the measurement of the rear insert area (where it fits into the body of the camera) and the distance, pin to pin, where there are mounting pins. Some have brass corners or metal rails instead of pins. If this is what your camera needs, youll recognize it. All will be shipped with GG. If you don't like the prices, make an offer. PHSNE just received a large donation of items and I'm clearing out what I can.
#1 is a B&J adapter for an Eastman 2D 5x7 (ignore the label in the picture) that allows 4 6x9 shots on one sheet of film. The insert is 7 7/8 square and the pins are 7 on center. This one is missing the GG and has some small issues with the hood. Perfectly useable with a little touch up. $70
#2 is for 4x5 on 5x7. Insert size is 7 1/2 and the pin holes (no pins present) are on 6 1/8 centers. $60
#3 is a 5x7 back. In fact, I have two of these. Insert size is 7 15/16 There are no pins. Instead, it has brass corners that obviously fit into clips on the body - see blurry picture.$70
#4 is an oddity, a back for the No 1 Kodak Enlarging Camera, which can be clearly read in the picture. It is much more a plate holder, taking a full plate image, 6.5 x 8.5. The insert size is 7 3/4 by 9 5/8 and it has pins at the top, on 7 11/16 center. The bottom side has slightly larger holes, rather than pins. I think one could make this a very simple conversion to wet plate, though silver or glass corner mounts might be necessary. It loads from the back and has a good, working dark slide. Remarkable condition, considering that the camera was not in any catalogue that I have seen more recent than 1914. $50
#5 is straightforward, a B&J adapter for 4x5 on 8x10. Grey, with an insert size of 9 3/4 and pins on 10 3/4 centers. $70
#6 is another B&J, but this time for half sheet (3 3/4x2 1/2) images on a 4x5 sheet of film, but the back fits a 5x7 camera. Insert size is 7 7/8 square and there are no pins. Instead, it has metal rails top and bottom. I think this might fit the Rembrandt camera but I cant be sure. $70
#7 is a straight B&J 5x7 back, with very nice, gridded GG. 7 7/8 insert, pins on 7 center. $70
All prices shipped in CONUS, higher for other locations as shipping costs increase. Satisfaction guaranteed. Paypal fine.
