This article recently ran in the New York Times and is an interesting read. My apologies if someone has already posted it here. There is another one coming as well about travel photography. Enjoy!
I have seen Kenro Izos *sp* platinum mural prints of this location and they were stunningly beautiful.
I saw his show in Toronto in the early 90's and bought his book. If anyone has a chance to see his original prints it is well worth the time.
As a printer I have made more prints of this location than any other place in the world , maybe with the exceptions of the Vatican courtyards or those colourful canyons.
I was actually at Angkor and its surrounding temples the other day. I'd be interested in seeing the rest of his work. Cambodia ís a bit of a side venture and I had not even read the slightest bit about Angkor Wat before going so I was surprised by the hordes of tourists.
