I picked up a group of photographs that included six Arthur Rothstein photos and a single Chris Killip. I was convinced that the six by Rothstein were decades old silver gelatins but they were all mounted. So I decided to use the hair dryer trick to remove the photo from the mount, hoping to uncover some relevant marks to assist me in dating it. I probably shouldn’t have done this but it turned out ok and left me with this stamp. The Chris Killip was determined by the Killip Trust to be genuine.
