There is a whole category set aside for photography in Art of the State: Pennsylvania 2009 the 42nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition, that runs from June 28 through September 28 at the Pennsylvania State Museum in Harrisburg. Entry is by images on CD or slides; deadline for entry is March 1. Accepted work is to be delivered May 30 & 31. There are categories for craft, painting, photography, sculpture and works on paper. A prospectus is available through the Museum website. The exhibition is co-sponsored by the Greater Harrisburg Arts Council.
