I have done this for years, For large projects it is a fantastic way to process. I was the 2nd and 3rd year basket guy for my photography course years. Each day I would do all the
students film.
One thing is to be very careful with the way you bring out, drain, bring out drain , bring out drain. be precise and repeatable, as well a good tap at the bottom will disloge bubbles.
Once you get good at this you can also push and pull the film or use different films and times.
I still have a complete 35mm - 8 x10 kit here and would never think of getting rid of it.
use sheet film and you can start solarizing your film
btw its nice to here of someone shooting a lot of Black and White.
