No, I think that means the date they hit the shipping dock. I placed my order a week or so ago. Contact Louise, I believe you can find her info earlier in this thread.

BTW, she said the response was pretty good. This is great news as it might encourage the new owners to expand production to other models.

Great news indeed. And I hope so...

I have been away from this posting string for awhile. I am really enthused about the progress made so far.

I just picked up a second Durst L184 for the primary purpose of securing the coldlight head that it came with - a D1414 with a huge external power supply. I wanted it so I would have two heads (my other one is a Beseler 1212 style head). I will send Louise another note about spare tubes (for both my heads now). Gotta figure out what to do with this second enlarger now (wife is really sweet, but a pair of these is really too much).

Just wanted to alert those who may have this thread subscribed to take a look at (there was a url link here which no longer exists). It contains updated information from Louise at Voltarc (LCD Lighting) regarding just announced new Aristo replacement lamp grids.

For any interested subscribers to this thread, there is some new, more in-depth VCL lamp grid product info from Louise, available in (there was a url link here which no longer exists) from (there was a url link here which no longer exists).

For the record, my overriding concern here is that if these resurrected manufacturing runs of new replacement lamp grids should turn out to be one-time-only deals, that no one who currently owns an affected Aristo unit misses out on a chance to purchase new lamps and extend the life of their light sources.

How many times have you said that it's good to know a certain analog product is still available, only look for it when you finally needed it - and it was no longer available? With these posts, I'm trying to avoid that.
