Sometime very recently. I noticed it in the catalog I just received.

Not a surprise with the cost of everything else increasing.

But still a bargain! I shoot 8x10 and 50 sheets of Arista cost about the same as 25 sheets of Ilford (BTW Ilford and Kodak are almost the same price per 8x10 sheet) Foma-oid Arista is a great product at a price that allows me to keep a few boxes 'in reserve' should supply problems happen (like when Kodak made thier sheet film facility "dust proof" or when Ilford went through reorganization) But its too good of a film to be kept on the shelf. It reminds me of when Freestyle sold excellent FP-4+ as "Arista Pro" (which incidentally I'm just finishing off my last box of 8x10 "Arista Pro")
Shoot it. Buy more. Have fun!

plus school just started again. that means gett'em while there hot on ordering. you used to be able to get the discount price when you bought 20 rolls, now it's 50 rolls.

Also see (there was a url link here which no longer exists) The exchange rate is likely part of the reason; the US dollar has been weak lately, and AFAIK no B&W paper is made in the US any more, at least not commercially.

This must have just happened in the last couple of weeks. I had planned an order 2 weeks ago, when I ordered Arista film was a bit higher across the board.
