Hi all,

Does anybody else have problems with Arista 100 getting 12 frames onto the film? I use a 'blad 500 C/M and I keep forgetting that I should actually start the film a little further along than the marked arrow because invariably the 12th exposure ends up either just fitting onto the length of film or if I'm really unlucky I may get as little as half of the 12th shot. I shot three rolls of it last week and was lucky with the third roll as I knew I had a "keeper" on the 12th shot. Luckily I got there with about 2mm to spare.

Nope, I don't use a 'blad, but haven't noted any issues with alignment in the way you describe. A friend of mine does use one and also regularly uses Fomapan100 and I haven't heard problems from him in this regard.
However, he does run into problems with minute cracks in the emulsion that are argued by some to be caused by the tension a Hasselblad transport mechanism exerts on the film. The problem seems intermittent and does not occur only with his Hasselblad but also with his Horseman view camera and accompanying holder. I myself, mostly using a Bronica, have not experienced this particular issue.
