Argyrotype vs. kallitype

Has anyone come close to producing an argyrotype (Mike Ware's formula) print that has equivalent tonal qualities as a traditional kallitype print?

I have done gold toned Argyrotypes that had equivalent tonal qualities to "pt/pd" prints, let alone kallitypes... (From - relatively - lower resolution diginegs, though. Can't speak for trad. film negatives!) Same for Vandyke, FWIW...
