Recently rounded out a set of 35mm/50mm/100mm LTM lenses to shoot with a couple old rangefinder (fed 2, leica iii) bodies i have kicking around and have been thinking about picking up a turret viewfinder for my rig.

I’m aware of two options and curious about folks general opinions of them, but also specifically - what do the framelines on these look like? Are they just black frames or are there albada-style lines of some kind?

Are there other turret style finders i should keep my eyes open for?

The kmz soviet finder

The (german-made) argus turret finder

Why not the actual leica turret vf (whatever it’s called)? They can be found pretty cheap because nobody likes them, I guess!

I've just had my Zeiss Ikon pre-war Universal finder 436/70 CLA'd by Oleg Khaliavin.

It's a beautiful tool especially when you use 85 and 135 mm lenses , compared to the Leitz Universal finder which is usable for wide angles and standard lenses but less handy for telephoto lenses.
