Argus C3 leans help.... f-stop very stiff

hi everyone,

i've tried removing the lens(but not disassembling) but it seems like the knobs adjusting the f stop are still very stiff....also with the idler gear. anyway to lubricate these to get them back to par?

Really a lot of group knowledge there. Please, search first. They've got the military service doc's scanned and all sorts of FAQ's for rangefinder calibration and everything else you can possibly imagine.
