For those long term members of APUG. What was the most argumentative discussion about a single thread question you remember? And was it ever resolved?

Could have been the pyro wars or one of the discussions of whether it was necessary to use a stop bath.

Prewet vs non prewet, does a grain move in an emulsion during processing, and how to measure vAg when making an emulsion.

I remember those, and don't, please don't revisit them at all.

I think Jorge and his posts would win an Academy award.

I think Mustafa's posts could push us in directions... I have always thought Mustafa was Dinesh playing with our minds. Using google language auto correct .

Define "argumentative". Do you mean that in a legal or in the "angry" sense of the word?

Air Force jump boots, and I still have 2 pair but not with the old time gloss!

So what? I also have my K-Bar. Want to go out back and discuss it? :D

Only USMC really know how to properly and effectively use a K-bar. Take your chances and have some fun APUG19!

Rodinal has been an excellent topic to bring up if you want the adrenaline and the monkey wrestle ... throw in some "Rodinal is not an acutance developer" and "My R09 is better than your Paronal S" and you get a perfect troll bait.

Never argue with anyone that has a Nikkormat on a strap. Unless of course you have a Leicaflex on a strap.

The one about how the Kodak bankruptcy would kill all the suppliers worldwide of inputs to film manufacturing.

I recall reading some "spirited" debates on the virtues of blix.

I thought it was the thread where some idiot was foolish enough to disparage stand development. :whistling::munch:

Bruce, we wore laced boots which were laced tightly so that we got no broken ankles when doing jumps. And as far as using a K-Bar, who said who trained me? :D

As an added feature, THERE IS NO SUCH COLOR AS MAGENTA!

I've learned my lesson. Oh, and BTW, they did try and chain me up in a barn.

Did you use the K-Bar to facilitate your escape?

leg up

Dear Photo Engineer -- I am glad you are not a "leg." To the uninformed -- a "leg" is someone who has never made a parachute jump.
Always remember to pull the dark slide and the ripcord. Or, maybe the "D-ring."
