Are these Omega carriers interchangeable?

This is confusing. I have an Omega enlarger with C-760 dichroic head. Based on eBay search results and looking around the web, it would seem the carriers I need look like this:
carrier1.jpg

However, I think I had one of those at one time, and it didn't fit. (I could be wrong.)

The ones that do fit look like this.
carrier2.jpg

To add confusion, these are advertised as working with the B-22 enlarger, which I don't have.

So what's going on here? Are these interchangeable, and if not, why wouldn't the C-760 carriers work under my C-760 head?

Bonus Question: What exactly is a "rapid shift" carrier?

Is your C-760 head mounted on a B-22 chassis? A picture of the machine might help solve the mystery.

the bottom one is a rapid shift carrier,
you can put the whole uncut strip in there, and rapidly shift to the next frame to print.

I wondered about that. Don't know if these help...

I believe that's a B600 chassis. Not positive, but pretty sure.

Those Omega B and C color heads are basically flat on the bottom, but the chassis will vary. If you look closely, I bet you'll find the chassis has 2 pins with engage with those 2 cutout areas on either side of the hinge in the carrier.

Thanks for taking a look, everyone. Is the model number (of the chassis) not anywhere on the unit itself? Clearly, from my photo, it's not on the back plate (except to say Omega).

Is the opening in the frame the negative carrier rests square or rectangular? Square would indicate this is a 600 series chassis.

Mystery solved. It's a C-700 chassis. I forgot that the enlarger came with the original manuals, of which there was one for the C-700 and one for the C-760 dichroic head. Thanks for taking a look. I need C-700 carriers, which work with the B-22, -66 and -600 enlargers, but not the C-760.
