i am just looking for a way to occasionally get a picture from my negatives into my computer and then onto APUG.
Do these thin work fairly well.?

You can just photograph with a digital camera the negative on top of a light box or tablet/phone white screen and convert and up load. Thats what I do for large format negs or even easier take a picture with your phone, use an app to convert to positive and up load from the phone.
