Are the Fuji Acros Neopan films discontinued?

Hey guys/gals, As some of you are aware I'm coming back to film after a 5 year hiatus. As such, I haven't been keeping tabs on the film world so I'm a bit out of the loop and trying to play catch-up.

My all time favorite black and white films were the Fuji Neopan Acros line ( 100 / 400 / 1600 )

As I'm just surfing the net and getting myself re-acquainted with the film world again, I notice that fuji no longer lists any negative film on their main website. Are they no longer producing it??

I know my local shops still carry the film and I know B&H does as well, but if it's going away for good I want to stock up!

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Whew! Ok thank you for clearing that up. I wonder why it's no longer listed on fujifilm.com?
 
Acros is a Neopan, but not all Neopans are an Acros.
 
Do you shoot 35mm or 120? Neopan (Presto in Japan) 400 is going/gone in 120, although there's still plenty of Acros 100, at least for a while. That being said, I stocked up on some 10-packs of Acros while at Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo earlier this week. I also found Acros there in small sheet film sizes (2x3, give or take - my knowledge of these sizes are limited) in addition to the standard 4x5, 8x10, and larger sizes. The 1600 is only available in 35mm, although I don't know how long that has been the case.

If you can afford it, stock up on what you can now, and freeze it. The last couple of years has proven that you can't entirely depend on the film manufacturers to keep us updated in a fair manner about what is staying, and what is going.
 
Fuji may not be very good updating their web site. I think they believe their core market just sorta knows what they have... Not a weakness limited just to Fuji.

I generally give Kodak and Fuji a lot of trust and I generally assume they are doing the right thing. But their record of informing customers when a product is being deep-sixed is abysmal. The product stops production, inventory disappears, time passes and then the notice goes out. Should be the other way round. It makes life miserable for folks who depend upon certain items.

If you like a silver based image making product, you would do well to heed mooseontheloose's advice: stock up.
 
Presumably you shoot 35mm as Neopan 1600 isn't available in 120. In which case all three flavours, 100, 400, 1600, remain available. The big loss has been 400 in 120 which has been killed because of some environmental issue.

But in general I also think having a back-up stock is good, buy a lot, store it, and then replenish it with fresh as you shoot it.
 

Well in the past I shot Acros 100 religiously on 35mm, I no longer shoot 35mm film (for the time being) but I will be shooting 120. I saw that they aren't making 400 anymore.

Im going to load up on Acros 100 and Neopan 1600 then (Sorry for my naming errors, I wasn't all there last night, kinda stressed!)

You mean Acros 100 right? 1600 isn't available in 120, which is a shame, as it is my favorite high-speed film, but unfortunately I can only use it in 35mm (which I don't shoot a lot of anymore either).
 
No sign of Neopan ACROS 100 in 120 being or becoming unavailable down here in Australia.
I only use this excellent film in my Zero Image multiformat pinhole.
 

Well just to make things even more confusing, I don't seem to be finishing my thoughts. I don't shoot 35mm anymore, but I DO still have 1 more 35mm film camera left, and if 1600 goes by the wayside, I'd like to have at least one more go with it before it's all gone.

So, Yes I'm aware Neopan 1600 does not come in the 120 format and only the 135 format.

Yes I'm aware that Neopan 100 and 400 were the 120 format choices and now 400 is gone (unless I find old stock)

So for my 645 camera I'll still buy Acros 100 as well as Ilford films.

Again I'm sorry for not being clear and also posting the wrong information. It was a long weekend and my brain just wasn't all there and all my posts were rushed due to limited internet connection time.

I would like some clarification on whether NP400 is discontinued in 120 size in the USA. The Fuji website still lists it, so what gives? It is one of my favorite 400 speed films (looks great in WD2D) and I would hate to see it go..
