Are synchro flash and screw-lock PC terminal the same thing?

Looking for a way to connect my old flash to my RB and can find screw-lock PC terminal cables advertised, but the RB manual says synchro flash.

Two names for the same thing, or no?

Thanx, Alan

No.
The synchro flash terminal on RB lenses is actually a plain PC (Pronto- Compur) terminal. A screw-lock PC terminal cable uses a PC connector to establish an electrical connection, and a screw-lock thread to physically reinforce and maintain that connection.
Some screw-lock cables might be able to connect without engaging the threads.
What type of flash is it?

The Sunpak Auto 433D Thyristor flash unit has a shoe mount dedicated for different cameras. If your 433D does not have a PC cord connection but only has a hotshoe connection, you may have to get a PC-male to hotshoe adapter so your flash can sync with your RB67 lens.
