Hello Team,

I have a chance to do some horse trading for either a rb67 360mm C lens in very good condition or from another friend a Rz 360mm with more mileage on the lens odometer, was wondering if they would be same sharpness/contrast etc..

I just like the more compressed look with longer telephoto lens...
Thanks for your opinions and input on this!

Optically the same. RB has shutter in the lens, RZ doesn't.
Are you sure about that Andrew?
The RZ67 doesn't have a built in shutter - they are all in the lenses.

There are actually 2 different 360mm lenses for Mamiya RB/RZ67 system, the older version is f/6.3, and the newer version is f/6, with a completely different optical design. I believe all of the RZ67 lenses are the f6 version, which I would think is likely at least a little better (otherwise why would Mamiya revise it?), but I've never seen a comparison. There aren't really any terrible lenses in the lineup, the difference between the two is likely subtle. The newest RB67 lenses will be marked K/L.

...APO - corrected for 3 wavelengths: blue, green, red and now infra red. That seems to be four wavelengths.
