Hi all

Are all Mamiya RB67 C lens have a floating element?

I was thinking that only K/L lens have a floating element. I discover from APUG that it is not true.
So C lens have a floating element too. Are they some C versions with and without this FE?

Regards

I know my 50mm 4.5 has one. You have to manually focus it.

Wonderful lens by the way

This RB 67 standard lens does not have the floating element:
Mamiya-Sekor C 1:3.8 f=90mm

Only the 50mm and the 65mm lenses have a floating element (on the C series).

The 90/3.8 doesn't really need a floating element. But for MACRO performance a floating element is beneficial.

There are two versions of the 65mm C lens, and only the latter has a floating element.

The 140mm macro C also has a floating element.
