Out of curiousity how was this intended to be used? On a regular sheet to get a crop or in combination with a roll film back acquired separately?

was bought for a diy project, that never found any time to be build. Wanted to build a arca style 6x17cm frame and was looking for a shen hao 6x17 fim back > very rare to find!
