Keith, I think you and I have communicated by email before about Photomark and scanning negs, haven't we? Didn't you do some shooting up on Route 66 last year?

Chris -
Yes, we have communicated via the Mamiya group on Yahoo and personal email. I have not been very active on this site as the shear size is rather daunting.
I look forward to the next meet-up in February.

I did see that you had an accident. I suggested the 645 PRO, which is what I have settled on using. It is not as big as the RB67 and just a bit bigger than the M645. Of course, I lost my mind again and bought a 4x5. Had to sell the RB67 to pay for the stuff needed for that monster.

This afternoon we went over to the Phoenix Art Museum to view the Linda Connor exhibit. Some fascinating work. She uses an 8x10 view camera and all the pieces are contact prints. I understand she will be in town on Friday the 30th for a viewing and reception that evening. I am thinking of going, it is only $20. Might pick up some tips??

According to my recollection, Dave offered his home for a gathering. However, I believe it was decided that we would meet at Starbucks as a central location to get more fellows out before we direct them to Dave's house. Dave, if I misunderstood, please correct me. Personally, I would prefer that we get a few more members out for the ice breaking first. Nevertheless, I am open. Starbucks is more central and Dave can give directions to his place from there.

Wow, how do you get tickets? I'd really like to attend.

A February 28 meeting to get out group off the ground is pending. At this moment the location is in process and will be posted with directions later as we approach the date. If you are and Arizona APUGer, we encourage you to come out and become founding members of a local group.

Regional Group??

Greetings All -
Is there any update as to the formation of a regional group here on APUG.
Would it help if several of us emailed the administrators?

Just curious...

BTW -
Went to the Phoenix Art Museum last night for an evening with Linda COnnor. What an interesting experience, she was very down to earth and even a little quirky; I loved her.
The Center for Creative Photography will be hosting her exhibit starting in March. As well as the photos currently at the art museom, they will be exhibiting several oversized pieces.

It is worth a try. My emails have brought no response.

I have setup a social group for Arizona in the social groups section.
Please feel free to stop by and join and make a post.

New Arizona Social Group

There is a new Social Group that has been added for those who live in Arizona or who enjoy the desert southwest.

See Groups>Social>Arizona APUG

The group is open to all. Feel free to add discussions, comments, or thoughts.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Keith

Just a quick reminder of the Feb. 28 get-together in Phoenix. Check details higher in the thread. Also, join the Arizona APUG social group that is replacing the regional groups. Let's find out how many of us there are.
