I did not know him but it’s always sad when a fellow member passes. RIP.

Thanks for posting; I had been noticing his inactivity here and wondered. He and I shared some similar interests and had interacted a bit.
Condolences to his friends and family.

So he became a silent key. RIP

People always say nice things about silent keys, but that does not make it worth becoming one.

Ralph was a character. My wife and I met him when he purchased a camera from me, and we communicated back and forth here from time to time.
I enjoyed all my contacts with him.
My condolences to friends and family.

I think part of it was due to the kerfuffle involving the roaming camera 10, where he wound up being the last person to shoot with it and forgot that it was still in his car when he was adamant that it had been sent back out. After that, he stopped posting as often. That, plus other activities started encroaching in on his APUG visitation time periods. If I remember correctly, he was also using cell data to get online, instead of using DSL or cable. So, he did have a data limit.
