I'm working on the "links" page of my website and have successfully loaded the APUG logo and created the link to it-----the link works.

The logo does appear while viewing it in Yahoo's Site Builder program just not when I preview in a browser window as I get the little red "x" where the logo is supposed to be. Help is appreciated.

Thanks
Chuck

Not familiar with Yahoo Site Builder but a common problem can be case sensitivity. Make sure the path to the image has the correct case for each letter. Linux/Unix based servers are case sensitive where Windows ones are not.

Good luck, Bob.

Strange, I put a link to the Ansel Adams site and that logo shows up ok in the browser and I can't see any difference in how the paths look between the two, but I'm new to this stuff so I'm sure I'm missing something.

Must be something else then if the path and file name are OK - it just occurred to me to mention it as it is a common error. Perhaps if you paste the offending section of HTML code here it might help. Hopefully someone with experience of the Yahoo software will appear.

Cheers, Bob.

Bob, is this what you are referring to?

<a href="http://www.apug.org"><img src="images/logoapug_1_.gif" width="100" height="42" border="0" alt=""></a>

I use Microsoft Frontpage and I just right click the logo to copy and then save it and later I uploaded it into MS FP et voila, link. I also devoted an entire page to it. Needs to be updated, the entire site does. Working on that.

Ok, fixed. The images were not in the right format to display properly in the browser window.

Thanks

Thanks for the link Chuck, let us know when the site is ready
