Wikipedia article on te Zone System states that there are ten exposure zones in Ansel Adams' Zone System. Well, no need to go back there again now is there.

Choose your number. I prefer the original 9. The 10 revision lost the symmetry and IIRC even AA reckoned you couldn't always get the 11 of the last interation.

Yeah, choose your number. My copy of Adams' The Negative (1948 edition) shows 10 zones, Zone 0 to Zone IX. But lots of folks claim that's 9 zones.
