APUG Beach Gathering delayed this year

To all who are waiting for the "Back to the Beach, part IV" I'm afraid we have to do it later in the summer this year. Other duties and issues prevail, I'm afraid, so the traditional date of the third week in June will have to be scrapped. (How many times does something have to happen to make it "traditional"?) I'm thinking maybe the third weekend in July-the 21st or maybe the middle of August. Any thoughts?

A former pastor once told me if you do something three times, it becomes a habit. Therefore, traditions being nothing more than socio- or meta-habits, I say three times.

Back to the beach, part V

At least I think it's V... July 21 is what works for the family. With that in mind:

Come to the beach!
July 21, Waterford, CT
All day, low key, kids most welcome (very kid friendly beach).
I'll do some meat and salad (pasta and...) with some seltzer, wine and beer; you bring whatever. Grill will be available (charcoal)
Give-away, swap table, side trips for photo shoots, large format portraits on the lawn.
