i can't pick just 2 or 3 images.

https://www.google.com/search?q=moh...ved=0ahUKEwi1--qLzK_PAhUGQyYKHcVzAp0Q_AUIBigB

his paintings, photographs, photograms, montages, typography
too many things to appreciate all at once .. he and man ray invented the photogram
nearly at the same time, and moholy nagy continued working with shadows and light creating
movies and contraptions soon after ... the film black white and grey i have attached a link to
was made with the "light prop" and if you are lucky enough to live near boston you can go to the fogg museum at harvard and they plug it in ( or used to ) one day a week ... if you like that sort of things
it is worth the trip !

thanks Jnanian!!, a wonderful artist. in '45 he came to chicago, Il to restart the Bauhaus, as the institute of design, and merged with illinois tech to make the Illinois institute of technology. A real visionary, etrememly creative person he also wrote quite a bit on the topic of light. the book by Richard Kostelanetz is an anthology of Moholy's work in written form. A good read that is very inspiring.

It occurs to me that most will not know how to pronounce his name. Since I am half-Hungarian and grew up with the language, I will offer this attempt at transcribing the pronunciation (in Hungarian, stress is always on the first syllable):

LAHs-loh MOH-hoy NADj

Be *very soft* on the 'j' - almost like a 'y'. It sounds very similar to the English word "nudge", but with the soft 'dj' or 'dy' sound.

It's a very common name.

i love his work
and NOW know better
how to say his name

That's a lovely piece of film.

Some of the structures remind me of the print work of Karel Martens.

I am trying to think back to the last time I noticed photograms in pop culture and it's back at the turn of the century with this music packaging art by Tomato for Underworld:
