The one by Erwin Puts is very good food for thought, but I can not at all say I completely agree...but then who the heck am I.
The article about "Real World test between Kodak Gold and Nikon D60 Dynamic range" has as many holes in it as a screen door. The "test" is not done well for the film or the DSLR. I mean hell, the film scan had more noise than my cheap P&S digi cam. Also the inability to get a properly exposed image from the Nikon D60 was a result of user ignorance, not a fault of the camera. The whole thing was just pointless and proved nothing for either medium.
Calumet spills the beans? I must have missed it, didn't see any "beans".
I have read some stuff from Kirk Tuck before and find his change from film to digital and back to film to be very interesting. Good to hear from someone who knows and understands both.
