Was Pana-Vue a company or just a tradename?

Over here I only came across one model of 3x3cm slide projector (technically identical sold by 3 west-german manufacturers).

Pana Vue was a brand name from Sawyers who manufactured, among other things cool, View Master filmstrips and stereo viewers. As a child I remember seeing packaged boxes of slides, on particular themes, being marketed on the Pana Vue label. I know that they still make digi slide scanners but don't know if they still market pre-packed slide shows anymore......hope you're well!
