My brother just called me and said he had a Rollie with Zeiss lenses (I think it would be an SLR; he's not a TLR kind of person) and a wonky meter and would like it fixed up. I never even knew he had this although he did once mention having a Nikon F2 AS. Is any competent repair person ah, competent, or have some in the field risen above because of idiosyncrasies in that camera?

thanks

It may depend a great deal on which series of Rolleiflex SLRs your brother has. The SL35 etc. series is a "standard" sort of SLR; the 2000/3003 series is anything but standard and would, I imagine, be harder to get fixed properly simply because they were not very successful in the marketplace and therefore finding a repairperson with experience on them and parts would be more difficult.

Thanks. I'll give him a call for more info.
