I have been using D76 and HC110 for 35mm & 120. TriX, HP5, FP4+, Plus X and Acros. Just got some Sprint Systems developer and fixer. I am wondering if the same method I have been using for agitation/inversion will work. D76 @ 1:1 w/ three 5 sec inversions per minute. The Sprint instructions are different. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

Gerry

I haven't used Sprint chemistry for many years, but I don't remember changing anything about how I processed my film or prints. That said, I suppose it doesn't hurt to follow their instructions.

hi gerry

i have been using sprint chemistry on and off since about 1981
you won't be disappointed .

i don't know about your agitation scheme .. my guess is if it worked with d76 most likely it will
work with sprint, if you email their q/a person they have done extensive tests and will give you a better answer.

good luck !

What John said. I don't currently use their developer, but I did for several years. I liked it better than any others with the late lamented HIE. I still use their stop bath because it smells nice.

Vanilla, for those who might be wondering.

The Sprint film developer (1:9) was formulated to be a direct substitute for D 76 (1:1) so you should be OK.
