The design jet series of printers are meant to replace four color plotters for engineering/architecture applications. They are not really marketed to the photography community. I've used similar devices before I retired but not for photographs.
My guess is that you can probably make adequate, but not spectacular photographic prints with this device. Whether you will be satisfied with the prints will depend on your criteria.
You will be on your own regarding color management as there will be no third-party ICC profile support for even common photo papers.
Also, the stability of the inks is an unknown, but I doubt that they are up to the standards of modern photo printers.
