I see no point. Would probably NOT work since they are (probably)--- at least my hangers--- not correctly dimensioned for the slots. The clips work so well that I don't see any advantage to the hangers.
I wonder if drying in the hanger would help reduce curl? I wash and dry my 4x5 sheet film like that. Never thought of doing that with 8x10 fiber though..
As far as the Nova goes, i'm sorry but i have no idea
Thanks guys.
Philip, when I was doing 4x5's in the years ago, I sometimes get washing marks on the edges, I started to take them off and hang with a clothes pin. Interesting idea with the 8x10 fiber paper.
Using a Nova processor myself, I'm pretty sure those hangers wouldnt fit - they're too thick. I'll check and see tonight when I get home - I've got some of the Kodak 8x10 holders.I would be concerned about the same kind of potential development artifacts with paper that you can get using the SS holders with film - particularly surge marks where the developer comes through the drain holes in the SS frame. I also don't know how well the paper would hold up through the process in the SS frame. It isn't terribly rigid when soaked in chemistry, and might be prone to bending and/or wrinkling. RC paper would be more ok I would think - the plastic gives it enough rigidity.
