Anyone use Bronica ETR's?

I was just browsing around the innernet. No I don't need another camera (yeah right), but I was just amusing the thought of a 40mm medium format lens. Not going to happen anytime soon with my Hassy. Then I went to KEH.com and saw Bronica ETR bodies/lenses/backs for less than 35mm systems. Is that right? I did a little more googling and found the SQ series has not metering but the ETR series does.
So, does anyone shoot with these? How does the metering work? Does the lens couple to the body/prism? I guess I need a Bronica FAQ.

I bought an etrs for my wife recently with a 75mm and ae prism. Meter works great and the backs are cheap. We haven't made any enlargements yet but scans look good. They are very cheap on ebay. I picked up a sq body for myself for $34.

I have 2 bodies, 2 prism finders and a case full of lenses and backs. I love them!

The Tamron website still has the manual for the latest ETRSI. Plus they've got a guide to.

Mine works basically like a 35mm metering system would. Including TTL flash.

I have two ETRSi system with several lenses and film backs. Its a great system, works very very well. Sadly recently I have been using 6x7 more and more, and as a result my Bronica system sits more and more.

Honestly its a great system, you will be happy I think.

The metering for the Bronica series are in the viewfinder, not in the body. You can have a WL finder, non-metered prism, manual metered prism or an AE prism. I have the AE prism for my SQA and the meter works fine. The ETR series is the same. The Bronica systems are great. I have both the 6x6 and 6x4.5 back for the SQA so it gives me some added versatility. Unfortunately, it sits most unused since getting into 4x5.

I have an ETRS with 75 and 50mm lenses, a couple of film backs, prism finder and hand grip.

It has not had much use since I got an RB67 but I'm sure it will soon.

I use a ETRS with 40, 75 and 150mm lenses, 1.4x teleconverter, extension rings; rapid winder; WL, prism and AEII finders; two 120 backs and a 135W back. Great system!

By chance would anyone know where to get Diopters for the AE finders? So far I havent had any luck at all.

Still no rotary? That rotary makes my ETRSi kit really
work. Bright and Sharp. I've also the WL and AEIII but
the rotary is the one I take. I work tripod mounted. A
60mm delivers that landscape lens look.

Another recommendation here for Bronica. I cut my teeth on the SQ-Ai, until it was liberated from me during a trip to Santa Monica. I got a deal I couldn't refuse on an ETRS and it's been my primary camera ever since. Very reliable, very comfortable. I have the 40mm, 75mm, and 150mm lenses and use them all happily.
