They're great fun! Nasty sound when when you wind the film back but with the right subject they provide interesting results!

just curious, have you used the holga with the lomo fisheye lens? much difference between the two camera besides the film format? i have used neither but looking to try both...

Hi there! Both cameras have fixed lenses so the can't be interchanged at all. I think the lens quality is slightly better on the Lomo Fisheye so you don't have so much of the flare or unusual effects that are common with a Holga.

Actually you can remove the lens from a holga but it means undoing 3 of the 5 screws that holds the whole thing together. And there is a fisheye for holga lomo-produced product. I've been considering it but it's about 3times the cost of a holga and I've not been impressed by what I've seen of lomo fisheye camera.
