Eric,
What are you talking about?
I don't even see a link or something like that.

EDIT:

Film... meanwhile I understand (Am slow on the intake again. Don't watch TV and haven't been to a classic cinema for a while...)

I worked on this film in its early stages, My god where did it all go so wrong!!!!

As far as I know it never made it to the UK - it was due to be released but then wasn't as far as I know. If it was shown anywhere you missed it if you blinked.

I've heard such bad things about it I really wouldn't want to see it anyway. Why bother pretending it had any connection with Arbus at all? Worse than that, it sounds like complete misrepresentation for the use of someone's name. I'm glad it didn't do well!

I really liked the movie.
Emptied my mind of any preconceptions regarding the real Arbus and her biography
and just enjoyed the film. After all it says on the title "an imaginary portrait", which in my
book gave justice to Diane Arbus more than a clinical biography would.

I enjoyed the film too, not expecting it to be a biographical one or even connected to Arbus that much, because of its title. It does feature some weirdness; that's good.

Well, to me it sounds like - take someone complex and interesting, skim that away, ignore her work and influence totally, add several large spoonfuls of sugar, sit back and enjoy.

Much easier to digest that way. (and if it's totally 'imaginary' why bother? - I'm afraid I see no justice to her at all, and pretty much of a downgrading, making her into something a little sweeter and fluffier. Or should that be 'furrier'.) Sorry, thumbs down .

A weird bit a fantasy. I think I would have appreciated it more if they hadn't named the photographer after DA.
Glad I saw it, but I won't bother watch it a second time.

I check some other movie review websites and it seems people either loved it or hated it. Nothing in the middle. Well I will rent it and give you my opinion.

Well I pick it up and took a quick scan on the computer. Looks very weird. Which of course is just the movie I like. Will give it a full watch in a couple of days.

Do you know that feeling when you've made a date to shoot someone and the plans are just a wee bit over the line? That feeling of trepidation? Knowing it's what you want or need, but your peers are going to ask difficult questions? THAT feeling permeates the entire movie.
