anyone know what this is?

there was a point where my camera was in a semi-steamy room. A friend suggested that maybe it involved the steam and paper backing on the 120 film. Any other ideas?

Also, it's mainly in the highlights.

Thanks,
Zach

Photoshop filter number 59? I like it also, it goes with the subject matter. How many are there? Is the entire roll this way?

Is your film fixed properly? I too want to know how to make that.

I think the emulsion has become soft in the extremely humid conditions and has reacted.

I think the first frame has an arrow from the backing paper, although that could be from your picture.

I once had some 120 film in a cupboard that was unfortunately above a powerpoint, we had some friends stay for a weekend and they went through countless cups of coffee in our spare bedroom, the powerpoint powered an electric kettle!

The film was stuffed, I had difficulty after unrolling the leader onto the spare spool. When I closed the camera back I found I couldn't wind the film on without great force. I removed the film and found the emulsion had separated partially and was sticking to the backing paper.

if that arrow is from the paper, your film got wet...I've done it, looks like crap on scenics....farmers reducer will clear up some of it, but watch it in the tray is will work fast....if the arrow is not from the paper than the emulsion side was sandwiched to something and the chems couldn't get in there to work...once again farmers will help some....its just like trying to solorize a neg you can never dupe it
