Anyone know how to remove front element of Super Ikonta Tessar?

Often this is vapors of oil from the shutter. Glad it cleaned up well and that the camera is working. nice photo.

Ahhh - you are probably right. It did not have the typical fungus look, but I have had lenses with very light fungus in the past that was hard to recognize as fungus without close scrutiny, so I assumed this was the same.

It really made my day to get this camera working. I had already sent it to Michael Zacks, so now I have a fully functioning Ikonta with a clean lens and an accurate shutter... and a perfect viewfinder thanks to you, Dan. I hope to preserve (and use) as many older cameras as I can, because they are not making any more. They don't make anything like it anymore.

Glad that came out well (without having to recalibrate the RF). The sample image looks pretty good.
