I picked up a pretty Mamiya RZ67 meter chimney finder. It mounts on the camera fine. Some functions work, but not the auto. Mamiya did modifications to these finders back in the day. Wondering if anyone knows what was done.

Probably requires unobtainable parts. 😟

To use the metered chimney finder on the RZII Mamiya added a sub circuit board modification which unfortunately has not been available for some time.

Thanks for the information. I have the little plastic insert that I got with my original RZ67II body. I believe it insulates the terminals to allow the use of the model 1 finders without the annoying warning buzzer.

I love Mamiya cameras, no longer (for now) have anything other than the RZ67II, and two 6mf outfits. Beautiful cameras
