Not from the northwest, but I believe that if you PM Sean he will set up a new regional group. I am surprised that there isn't one since there are plenty of folks here from that area.

Seattle Camera Makers

There is a whole group of APUG members in the Seattle area involved in building their own LF cameras - here is the ongoing thread (although there have been no posts since February):

We're actually defunct. Barry Young and I are the only ones left. As it happens, Barry lives in Tacoma and I live in U.P.

Please feel free to IM me and we can get together with our large cameras. I have a 4x5 and an 8x10, plus a nearly finished 8x10.

There is a very active NW group you might want to join...

So much for Alaska

Alaska is home to the rugged individualist, you don't need us.

Haha. You haven't seen my photography have you? Take a look and you'll think otherwise.

i no longer have a 45 anymore..mostly shoot with my old beat up F2 nikon and a few good lenses..lol o F5 when feelin brave. but compared to haulin a lf around mt rainier-a ol F5 is light. hahaha!! but i am still interested in a local group and all apologies to those folks up in alaska! when i fisrt wrote this i was naive to think that alaska is not part of the northwest. as of right now i have tues and wed off if that helps-it changes once a month or every two months largely depending on when our shift bid at work happens to be going on. waiting to hear from ya all soon!

Ah!
I thought you meant Manchester, Liverpool, Lancashire, Cumbria -but I'd got the wrong continent:-(

Hi everybody, I too live in the Pacific Northwest (US that is) and would also like to know of like minded, film based photographers in this area. I live in the National Scenic Area of the Columbia River Gorge in Southwest Washington (Washougal is the closest town, Portland Or. is the major city). My wife and I moved here over ten years ago and I must say that as far as photography is concerned, it is a great place to be.
