Hello,
I've started shooting some 5x7 slides and need to drop them off with my lab. However, I don't have anything in which to put them when I drop them off. I was dumb and didn't keep the bags that came inside my last couple of boxes of film.

Does anyone have any extra such bags/pouches? 5x7 or 8x10 I would think, since I might not be able to fold a 4x5 bag effectively in order to keep the light out.

If anyone has better ideas on how to drop them off I'm all ears. Sorry - I know this is kind of a classified, but 1) I wasn't sure if anyone would see it and 2) it's a pretty piddly request and was hoping I'd be okay. If anyone hollers at me I'll delete this thread.

thanks.

Guillaume - I will do that if I have to, but the lab is not local. It's about an hour away which isn't _far_ but they have a drop-off that is in my town.

Do you have the empty three-part boxes? The film doesn't need to be in a bag. The normal way to deliver it to a lab is in a three part film box. Some people tape the box, but I usually put two rubber bands around it to make it easier for the lab guys.

nope, none of those, either :-(. I have only ever shot B&W which I just took from holder to rotary developer tanks so...was stupid and just tossed them. I presume I will have some after I get through the boxes of Velvia I have but not yet. And even if I get through half of the box of Velvia I presume I can kind of squish the remainder into the other box and be okay. But until then I have nothing...

Vaughn - good idea. I'll ask my friends who wet print to see if they have any of those left. I don't know why I hadn't thought of that.

thanks.
