I've inherited my Bobnquick from a darkroom closing its doors. I've been able to figure out how to load 35mm canisters from YouTube videos, but that was with the remainder of the 100 ft roll that accompanied the loader already inside. Now I need to install a fresh 100 ft roll, and I'm apprehensive about that. The YouTube videos don't seem to show that step, likely because it happens in the dark.

Barring the official instructions, is anyone aware of the basics of loading the 100 foot roll, and/or common pitfalls? I see the basic path for the head of the film to follow through the machine, but again, I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing something crucial. Thanks!

As it is Freestyle's product, I would reach out to them.
I don't see anything like a support file on their listing for it.

A bit of fluff at the beginning unfortunately but at around 2:50 he shows you how.

Helpful video. I've never reused cassettes but this looks pretty neat. Of course I have a couple Leica cassettes, what a beautiful system (assuming you don't have to send your film away 😁 )

The instructions for the Kaiser 4129 bulk loader, which appears to be the same as the AP/Arista one can be found here
https://www.kaiser-fototechnik.de/en/produkte/artikel.php?nr=4129
The instructions are pretty brief though, and don't really say much more than remove the circular cover, feed the start of the film into the slot, place the rest of the film in the loader and replace the cover.

The only problem I had at first was that I forgot to first close the top cover and insert the crank. That allows the film to load completely. Both the video and the directs linked above say to do that.
