Anyone go from Mamiya 6 to 7 and regret it?

I found someone that wants to go from the Mamiya 7 to Mamiya 6. I have a lot of 6x6 but no 6x7 and I am thinking about trading. Most seem to think the meter in the 6 is better than the 7 and also the viewfinder frame lines for wide angle lens.
Any opinions one way or another?

I had both... in sequence. Loved the Mamiya 6..... the 7 lens cone doesn't collapse.... the 6 is smaller...i liked the way it handled and carried ...loved not moving the camera for vertical/horizontal.... The 7 has a 43mm if you need it.
If i were buying i'd take the 6 in a heartbeat.... the 7 not so much...

My only regret is selling the 7. I had both, and kept the 6.

The 7 is just as good as the 6, maybe better. Except it's 6x7. The meter is a rectangular spot that is near the rangefinder window, and shifts with focus as the R/F window shifts. Once you get use to it, and know where it is (there are no markings!), it's fine. You also have more lenses (or less $$s), but the 50mm and 43mm need external finders (though you can estimate the 50mm with the entire view finder image)
