So I bought a Polaroid back for RB67 which arrived today. I'm eager to test it as the seals are gummy but I have no film.
I'm gonna throw some paper in there to see how it works.
Anyone done this?
I'll post some examples.
I'm thinking of using tape to make sure the paper doesn't move around inside the holder.
Tom.
I'd be interested to see the results. Mine's loaded with FP-100C at the moment so I can't look and see how it might work. If there's an empty cartridge in the back, then that might help it work. From memory the empty cartridge is springloaded (possibly using a foam "spring") so once fitted the paper shouldn't move.
haven't done it in polaroid back, but in 4x5 film holders, which is must easier loading, etc.
exposure was variable and i didn't work at it long enough to reliable reproduce. the ei/asa was low - like 3 for the paper i used. when it worked the pic's were great - more pictorialist style, sometimes sort of infrareddish- looking!
I have been reloading some paper into empty polaroid cartridges for use with my Polaroid 600 SE. It seems to work just fine when you get the iso rating of the paper right! (but that's a different story!)
