The Six States Show at FAVA in Oberlin, OH has the opening/awards set for Sunday March 5, 2017 2-4pm. Anyone planning to come?

If you're coming to see the show, which runs through Friday, March 31, post here with details (date, time, contact info) so we can meet up.

I miss this every time. I wonder if I can turn in my work early for the show two years from now...
Same boat here. I had looked up the show back in December and it said info would be posted soon. When I remembered to check last Monday, well... Oh well, there'll be 2019.

I'm on the mailing list, but the notice/form is postmarked Jan 27. I had too much going on in the intervening time to prep anything, and had very little time to shoot in the last year. So I missed submitting this year as well. I hope some of the gang can at least come view the show and perhaps meet up for a meal or a drink.

I think making it biennial has made it less immediately important and harder to remember.

Rules are that the work must have been done within the last three years, so we're safe to print and matte/frame now and still be eligible for 2019 submission.

I have to ask, any one heard from (there was a url link here which no longer exists)?
Looks like his last post that was not about selling off equipment was in 2014.

Hi Lee,
Not heard a word from John. Might have to call him and see how the two of them are doing

My wife and I did meet up with John and Dolly in Aug. '17 for lunch and a trip over to the Cuyahoga National Park HQ to get our National Parks senior passes before the price hike. Of course we stopped for ice cream at Country Maid. They were in pretty good health, but John hasn't shot for a couple of years. I'm sure John would be happy to hear from any of the regular attendees at his events by phone or email. He's not on APUG recently, which is true for me as well. I do get notified if you PM me here. I'll let John do his own talking to anyone who wishes to contact him. Just wanted to say that he and Dolly are doing OK and would be happy to hear from APUG folks.

Thanks! That's good to hear. And good to hear from you, too! I think about the gatherings at Cuyahoga often - good group of people!
