Is your question location/market specific, because any answers would be?

The last time I took Velvia 50 120 was in April this year. More often they load with Provia 100F, even now I am waiting for the delivery from the last order a week ago.

Stock status at FotoImpex @ADOX Fotoimpex presently for both Velvia 50 & 100 is:
35: some available in store in Berlin. New deliveries expected early Nov.
120: out of stock, new delivery expected later this month for 50 and early Nov for 100
4x5": out of stock, no delivery date indicated

How dependable the expected delivery dates are I couldn't say; I'd be hesitant. Fuji's indications are very sketchy in general in my experience.

I think we're all aware at this point that Fuji slide film availability is spotty; deliveries come in every few months and usually it sells out pretty much instantly. So supply evidently doesn't keep up with demand.

Europe wise I haven't seen Velvia (120) in stock, sans spot availability selling out very quickly, for quite a long time. I did manage to get Provia 120 last Christmas.

Also of interest can be MSRP price adjustments. Provia appeared "cheap" until recently, but that might be just Fuji not tracking the cost increases and inflation as Kodak has done, who have been much more visible due to the continuous supply.

Interesting, from informal online posts I have seen that it is generally available in Japan. Such option to import from you is welcome.

Velvia 100 is "outlawed" in the US because of one of the chemicals in it. Velvia 50 is still OK.

Shooting my last, and probably final, 120 roll of Velvia 100 with the fall colors on the mountains.

I'll miss it...

I bought a number of rolls of Velvia 50 in 35mm and 120 from a local camera store on October 2. I also got a box of 4x5 Provia from the same store. The Velvia has an expiration date sometime in 2026 (don’t have it in front of me). The Provia is 06/2026.

A different local store told me that their Fujifilm rep told them that Provia and Velvia would only be shipping out once per quarter for now.

See also this thread for more discussion about Fuji slide film availability.

Kumar, What about Provia 100f 120 size? Are you suggesting we order from Japan?

I just checked with North Coast Photo now called The Great American Photo Lab ( TGAPL) in Carlsbad, CA and they still process Velvia 100 in normal E6 soup.

I saw one listing on Marketplace where the guy bought Velvia 50 in 120 from Japan recently and was told this was their last batch ever. He was suggesting Fuji no longer will make this film. I know its been discussed before, but I understood Fuji still may make this film in batches at times. Unless absolutely all the film they make available was old stock stored somewhere.

I;ve got three boxes of 4x5 Velvia 50 expiry of 2022 and 2023 but frozen since purchase in my freezer. I wanted to load up some 4x5 in my holders but noticed someone was selling a box of 20 for around $450 on Ebay!!!. Am I crazy?

I stopped in at my favorite local store today. The last time I was there was sometime in September. Anyway, they had a good stock of Velvia and Provia in 35mm, as well as Velvia in 120. I also saw a photo on the web today of Velvia 100 (not in the US, of course) with a 09/2026 expiration date. So, it continues to make it out of Fujifilm.

I noticed that there's stores that have Fujichrome but is available only for in-store purchase.

They're trying to keep their regular customers happy.

Most interesting. And the Fuji saga goes on. And on...

A batch of RVP50 / 120 landed in Australia (Melbourne) in late-September. It created a stir, a 'Christmas in September', if you will. Completely bought out in under a week! Most togs source their stock from reliable sellers on eBay (I do); I have no time for shops to ruminate on what Fuji-san is doing or when/if any film is coming. I have sufficient stock of RVP100 and RVP50 in cold storage until June 2025.

On film expiry/develop before etc., I have never cared. I continue to use residual stock of ACROS 100from 2006 and 2007. This film has lived snug and comfy in the freezer with the snags, peas and party pies, and nowt to report on — mostly just used for pinholing now, along with the curiously US-outlawed RVP100 for same — incidentally, no such laws applying to that RVP100's processing in Oz. I think rumour, speculation and heresy that Fuji has "discontinued" or stopped or slowed production of these rav-fav films is best left to the believers that Elvis still walks among us...

Not in Down Under.

At pbarcelon on eBay. Known very reliable stockist of all films. But — the expense has turned off many prospective people.

Shops though...nil, zero, zilch, nada, and they seemingly don't care to service the interests of professionals still working in E6 materials.
