Anybody try Voigtlander VChrome slide film?

I just got a 50 roll bulk-pak of this: Voigtlander VChrome ISO 100 color slide film. Has anyone else tried this film? I am guessing it is sourced from Fuji? Any experiences out there? I haven't shot a roll yet.

Now that is something! I thought Voigtlander did quality optics for large formate and for 135 mm camera and also made some cameras but, died a long time ago! Gud how fast thigs coming back from the death/past! Is that made in hong kong or China?

The name Voigtlander is owned (I think) by Ringfoto. The Japanese Cosina company licensed the name for the Voigtlander rangefinder cameras and lenses. Voigtlander offers also digital point-n-shoot cameras, and also color negative and color transparency film under their own name. I am sure the film is made by someone else though.

A similar query showed up on another photo site. Seems this is a "special run" branded-film probably made for Cosina. Maybe as a "promo" gift?

the cr-56 on in addition to e-6 suggests it's fuji film....probably sensia.

The best thing would be to shoot a test roll and develop, check the edge markings, often times even when relabled for someone, we found that the fuji edge markings remained on their films, I picked up several rolls of an off brand drugs store chrome on a trip a couple of years ago, and low and behold when developed it was edge marked to indicate it was Sensia.

There seems to be some similarity with Konica Minolta VX Super NH negative film. I wonder if the "cr-56" indicated Japanese processing chemistry...

I wonder about "Photosuperia" - their prices seem to be suspiciously low. All they say about themselses is that there are a "Branch of a 20 year old company".

Regardless of your caution over Photosuperia, I ordered via the internet, and promptly got my order from them, and others have posted quick service also.

CR-56 is FUJI'S name for e-6

Well, I shot and processed my first two rolls of Voigtlander Vchrome 100 slide film, and i am not impressed much. While it could just be "old" film, the resultant images were somewhat "reddish", as compared to the Fuji Provia 100 I processed at the same time. It does appear to be sourced from Fuji.

Anybody try Voigtlander VChrome slide film?
