Anybody tied Rollei film?

Saw their film on their website. Anybody have a crack at shooting some of it? What kind of results? Can you process the film in any other chemicals or just the Rollei chemicals?

Rollie film

Made by MANCO, x-ray film makers.

Extended red gives "translucent" flesh. Not attractive.

Very process sensitive, difficult to control contrast.

Mylar/PET support is troublesome in cameras. Curly, can damage transport. Difficult to cut but once a tear starts it runs rapidly.

Large reciprocity factors. Old technology may not be better. They made it that way because they didn't know how to make it better.

Indeed the film is very chemical dependent: Rollei high speed (AM74), Rollei low speed (CG512) or Xtol (1+2) are so far the best choices.
