I was wondering if any one could tell me about these papers? I know the bottom photo is made by Kodak, the package says so. Don't know whoo make the other one. It says Grant Phot Products but don't know if that is a store or manufacturer.

Also have not been able to find info on any military specifications.

Both are dated 1955.

I did the google thing for "us army world war 2 contact printing paper"
and this came up. https://www.largeformatphotography....?144801-1940-s-WWII-Navy-Darkroom-Restoration
granted this is the US Navy not Army, but I figure its probably the same military contract .. or something similar to it.
so my guess is it is AZO or some sort of similar silver chloride paper.
its probably still good .. silver chloride papers have a legendary shelf life ( I can attest, I've printed on some 1940s and 1930s vintage with no problems )
if you haven't ever used azo or one of its cousins
http://michaelandpaula.com/mp/html/Azo_Main.html can give you some help.
I use a 300R bulb about 3' from the paper. I don't use amidol but I've used dektol, ansco 130
grade 1 and grade 4 -- sounds like they never had any difficult negatives !

I don't have any solid sources, but searching on those contract numbers eventually turned up a link that is a commercial book but appears to refer to "The Haloid Company" of Rochester. Haloid apparently changed their name in 1958 to Xerox. Wikipedia says that they used to make photographic paper. Not sure if that's right but it might be a clue.
